TrendWatch / For The Rainy Day!

Hurricane Katia first swooped by US coast line last week but it then made a turn towards Europe. Today Katia landed to Finland. It is not a hurricane anymore but it is a wet, soggy and windy piece of crap fall storm. And therefore it has been a very stupid day today if you ask me.

I just got back from work and I got soaked even though I had a huge golf umbrella. That is because the wind makes the rain go sideways. I wish I had a bubble (like a bubble boy), so I could just get in it and then roll around town in the bubble. That would be awesome!
Because I don't have a bubble and I know the rain won't stop for a while, I did go buy myself a good pair of rubber boots before I got home. My old ones had a hole in them, so my toes were always wet. I think I already mentioned that few days ago. So now I got to toss away the old ones. Wohoo!

Shopping for the boots made me actually happier. Nothing is better than retail therapy when you are having a crappy day. And wait until you see the boots!! They are gorgeous and I dare to say they are chic (for rubber boots). The boots are made by a company called Viking and they only costed 45 euros. Here they are...

They actually have a heel! Victoria Beckham would totally buy these too, if she would ever have to shop for rubber boots (*laugh*). How cool are these?! And they are comfortable too. I would not buy them just because they have a heel because they need to be comfy too. I walk a lot!

And they are even pretty from the inside. I think these were designed by a woman because no guy would think about putting a flower print inside the boot.

My new boots fit my narrow feet perfect!

"It's raining, it's pouring;
The old man is snoring.
Bumped his head
And he went to bed
And he couldn't get up in the morning.
Rain, rain, go away;
Come again another day;
Little Riitta wants to play."

  3. Sorry, I forgot to mention where I got these boots. People have been actually asking me a lot. They are from a cool shoe store in Kuopio called Kenkärenki.
