That is why I want to share my opinions about the products that I think work well and then also tell about products that didn't quite deliver what they said they would.
Some of the products on today's post are a bit older but I listed them anyway in case there are ladies who haven't discovered them yet.
First I want to tell about L'Oreal Studio Secrets Professional Smoothing Resurfacing Primer (horribly long name!). I tried it first time beginning of this year and I have been using it ever since. It is fabulous and it works wonders!
Primers are meant to be used on top of the moisturizer and under the foundation. I sometimes use this primer alone and I only add some powder on top. This product really smooths your skin and makes it look younger. You get the feeling that your skin is smooth as a baby's butt.
The jar is small but you only need a small amount at once. Just take a little bit on your finger and gently massage it to your skin with circular motion. I uses this at least on my eye lids and under eyes to secure the eye make up on its' place but sometimes I put it on my whole face.
I blow dry my hair every day because my hair is thick and otherwise it would take a half a day to dry it by itself. I know blow drying can cause damage to the hair unless you use a good protective product before the drying. I have tried several sprays before this one but nothing has worked quite as well. At least not the sprays with the budget that I can afford (this one costs around 5 euros in Finland).
TREsemmé not only protects against the heat but also has a UV-filter to block the evil rays of the sun.

Here's a picture of my hair after spraying it first with this spray (when it was wet) and then blow drying it with a big round brush. Sorry about the picture being bit blurry ( I took it myself with my phone).
The next product didn't do what it was advertised to do. I got myself a free new mascara by Lancome (it came free with my magazine subscription). It is called the Hypnose Doll Eyes. It is supposed to make your lashes look long, curvy and full like a doll would have. But it didn't do that to my lashes. It works as well as any other cheaper mascara. I usually use mascaras from Lumene or Maybelline and I will stick to those because I don't see the point paying over 30 euros for the doll eyes if you get the same result with any cheaper mascara.

But this other new product from Lancome works great and I wish I had the money to buy more. It is called Lacome Visionnaire skin corrector. I only had a tester for it but it was enough to try about three days and I really worked. I noticed a difference on my forehead especially. Lancome has said that Visionnaire will stimulate the regeneration process linked to aging at the epidermal layer of the skin. Meaning that it will be working on wrinkles, pores, pigmentation and even scars by making them more even. Very interesting and good product I think.

That's for the beauty buys this time. I will post more as soon as I try new ones. If you have a good beauty secret and you want to share it, just leave a comment on this page. I'm sure other ladies will love it. I know I do. And don't forget to mark my blog as your favorite because I am planning to make a post about aloevera. It is also very good for you in so many ways.
I also like wear something smoothing between my moisturizer and foundation. I have been using photo finish by smashbox and despite the fact that it works wonders, it´s prize is bit of a problem. Once I have finished this bottle, I´ll try the Loreal one. Thanks for the tip! And since we are in this sharing is caring mode, I´ll share something with you. :) If you wake up with a pimple on your face, try applying Body shops tree oil on it. So if I see a spot coming up, I´ll apply a bit of the product on it in the evening and next morning it will be gone (or at least almost). It costs about 10 euros and it truly works!
ReplyDeleteBlurry or not, you look great in that pic!
ReplyDeleteCool. I have to try that Body shop tree oil. :)
