Oh, dishwasher! You are a remarkable invention. Doing dishes by hand brought us so much tension. I didn't want to cook anymore because washing dishes by hand was such a chore! But now let us celebrate, the new diswasher is so great! Never leave us again.
Yep. Getting a new dishwasher got me poetic. We went without a washer for the whole summer and it sucked! It takes way too much time to wash dishes by hand. You can use that time for something so much better and fun.
Yesterday I saw an ad online for a used dishwasher for fairly cheap. I called the seller and he told he could even bring the washer to us. Hooray! So, it is really not brand new but it is new to us.
We tested the washer and washed few bowls and plates. It seems to work good. It's also much more quieter than our old one.
Our neighbour was helping us to carry the washer in the apartment (we're in the second floor), so I cooked up some dinner for him. Since he had never had grilled cheese sandwiches, I made them for him along with some tomato soup. Kids don't grow up eating grilled cheese sandwiches in Finland like they do in the US. I think tomato soup with some grilled cheese is the best when you are feeling under the weather.
Talking about the weather... It has rained ALL day in Kuopio. It only kinda stopped around noon because then it only drizzled a little. I hurried to the store with Jinx right away. I snapped a rainy day picture on the way to the store.
