Bake my day / TexMex Apple Pie

I tested out a recipe for new style apple pie. I found it on MeNaiset (Finnish women's magazine) on 1.9.11. It is called "apple pie for a busy person" but I renamed it to "TexMex apple pie" because of the ingredients.
First I wasn't sure how these would taste like but they were actually really good! I was unsure about the sour cream but it tasted great with vanilla. Nice crispy crust and lovely cinnamon apples. I liked these a lot! I think these would be a good desert for mexican theme night. And these are very quick to make, it took me about 15 minutes.

This is what you need:
-2 tortillas
-1 dl (about ½ cup) sour cream
-1 teaspoon vanilla sugar (or vanilla extract, I used few teaspoons because I love vanilla)
-2-3 small tarty apples
-1 teaspoon cinnamon
-2 tablespoons of crushed nuts (I used almonds)
-4 tablespoons of runny honey

This recipe is very simple and the measurements don't have to be so exact. First you need to heat the oven to 250C / 480F degrees and then wash the apples, take out the cores and slice them up. Since we have great apples in Finland during the fall time, I used them. But other times any tarty apple would do.

Then place the tortillas on a baking sheet.

After that you need to mix sour cream and vanilla together and spread the mix to the tortillas. Then put the apple slices on top of the spread.

Next you will need to sprinkle the pies with cinnamon and nuts. I used more than one teaspoon of cinnamon because I like cinnamon a lot!

The original recipe says that you drizzle the honey on the pie after you have baked it but I accidentally put in on before baking but it worked out just fine.
Bake the pies in the oven for 8-10 minutes. It should come out looking like this:

I cut up my pies like a pizza:

Yummy, yummy in my tummy!!
