Halloween is getting closer and closer, and we love it! Since we are co-hosting a halloween party this year, Scott and I decided to make some scary halloween decorations out of paper mache. Scott made us the water-flour-glue-mix to hold the paper together. He used 1 part of flour and 5 parts of water. He also put some wood glue in the mix and then just simmered it on low heat until it got thicker.
After that we just started to shape different kind of bones out of news paper strips. We let the bones to dry over night before spray painting them white.
Here's the glue-mix...

I made this bone...

Here are the scary Halloween bones all finished...

Evil skulls and bones...

These will look great with couple of grave stones we also have for the party...

Paper macheing is a great, easy and cheap way to make decorations. If you have any questions how to make bones etc, just let me know. I'm happy to help you!
Have a spooky week everyone!
