Riittalicious: Remembering The Year 2011

Hello Everybody

Since the year 2011 is wrapping up, I wanted to take a moment to think about the things done, learned and experienced the past year. The very best thing that happened to me was my laser eye surgery. Nothing will top that! I got a new life without glasses. The most fun I had on our trips to Stockholm, Oslo and Riga. I wish I could travel even more! The sad part was the tragedy in Norway. We happened to be there right after the attacks happened. Annoying thing this year was the amount of snow and also my stupid back pain. But overall this year was good to me though. Here's the highlights of my year:

- January we went on a fun cruise to Stockholm, Sweden. We learned that Moomis are really real.

-February was very, very cold! There were many days when the temperature was -28 C / -18F. Yikes!

- By March we had a lot snow! It took over 10 guys to clear off the snow from the roof of this sports hall near us and I'm not sure how the owner of that random car got his car out of the snow!

- The snow finally started to melt in April. It was also the last full month that I had to suffer about my bad eye sight. My sister got her puppy Ville.

-May was an awesome month! Finland won the Ice Hockey World Championship-games, I got my eye surgery and we found a funny street sign near our home.

-June was great! I enjoyed my new eyes, warm summer nights and the pretty Finnish nature.

-July was nice and hot! 30C / 86F on many days.We enjoyed a great 4th of July BBQ. Even Jinx dressed up for the occasion. We also went to a football game. End of July we traveled to Norway!
