What a day! It just felt like everything was against me today. Or maybe I'm just really fed up with the snow. Either way, I was super cold all day today, and I hate being cold because it gets my shoulders all tensed up. So, when I finally made it back home from work, I treated myself to a nice cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows and chocolate syrup. Yummy!!
Clipper makes a good organic hot chocolate mix (*thumbs up*). You only need to add hot or milk water. I added milk because it makes the drink creamier, plus milk has proteins that I need.
Add 2-3 spoonfuls of Clipper cocoa mix to hot water or milk. Mix well.
For the really crappy days, I always keep a bag of marshmallows in the house.
And I never buy Finnish marshmallows because they are not as good as the American ones.
Just add marshmallows and chocolate syrup.

Cold days are made for warm friends. Winnie the Pooh is so smart! I got this mug from a dear friend, and every time I use it, I think of my friend. My friend was pretty smart too!
Today I really needed a moment of afternoon tv with my big cup pf hot chocolate.
I was instantly in a better mood.
After the cocoa I was feeling a little better, so I decided to go to a HotPilates class. Nothing gets you more relaxed and warm than HotPilates, and this time was no exception. Since I was still feeling bit tired and my back was hurting, I didn't try to push myself during the class. I took it fairly easy and I just enjoyed the heat and long stretches. It is important to listen to your body and only do the amount of exercise that you know your body can do. Since today was a tough day to begin with I needed to calm down at the class. After the class I barely made it home because my legs felt so tired. My muscles were definitely very relaxed!
Pilates is a perfect sport to clear your mind. You just concentrate on the movements and breathing.
After the work out I had a strawberry-banana protein shake with Spark. It hit the spot! I felt good after replenishing my body with proteins, vitamins and minerals.
Last but not least... Check out this awesome shirt! Pilates makes me hot! I so need to get this shirt. I found it from an online store called Zazzle. They ship to countries in Europe as well to the US. They have a lot of other items too. Plus you can customize the items to say what you want them to say. Pretty cool, huh? I need to look into Zazzle more some other time because I'm too tired right now plus payday is still few days away (*wink*).
