Well, as good as Monday morning can be anyway. Morning here in Kuopio is sunny yet cold (-8C / 17F). KalPa lost last night in Espoo, so the final and most critical game is on tonight. Whoever wins, KalPa or Blues, will go on to the semi-finals. I'm already nervous and excited at the same time. Since the game is on tonight, I will skip my usual Monday night workout.
Anyway, here's few pictures of cute little pussy willows I photographed this weekend. It is a tradition in Finland to go pick up branches of pussy willows for Easter. I won't be doing that though because I'm allergic to pollen and I don't want to make my symptoms any worse than they are now. But I can admire them outside and in the pictures (*wink*).
Funny story about these pictures... I was walking with Jinx on the ice of the pond near by us. The snow was hardened up on the surface, so I could walk without sinking in the snow. I decided to walk towards the shore where I saw a bunch of willows. I got very close to the willows when all of sudden the snow underneath me caved in and fell into it. The snow was over my knee! My fingers got hurt because I hit a nerve on my elbow on the hard surface of the snow, and I scratched up my leg because I was wearing only a thin pair of leggings with rubber boots. OUCH! I should have been wearing more winter appropriate attire but since it was a pleasant sunny afternoon, I didn't think that I would need snow pants. Anyway, I'm all ok now and I have pictures of the pussy willows.

I can't bear to watch that game. Kalpa´s defeat to Blues yesterday was just way too much for me to handle. Today I will go for a super long run and will not check the result untill the game has ended. I have gotten my hopes up during the past 2 games just to have them crushed. Let's hope Kalpa will kick some ass today!

Thanks darling, I will. Although I don't want to get my hopes up, I have a good feeling about the forthcoming game. Just read that Mashur, Glenn, Kerman and Hentunen will be playing tonight! They all have played so well lately or at least I think they have. :)
