What a crappy morning! It is cold and rainy in Finland, and I somehow once again got a sinus infection! I'm going to the doctor today because we only have 20 more days till our trip and I do not want to be sick on our trip.
But let's not worry about me being sick, I have few good things that happened this weekend...
1) Good food at the new Chinese restaurant ChiFoo in Kuopio. I had the cashew chicken and it was delicious! I tried to learn how to eat with chopsticks and I did good about half the way to the dinner. Then I had to give up and use a fork (*giggle*).
2) Good movies; The Avengers and The Puss in boots. Both movies were great! I especially loved jokes in The Puss in boots. The Avengers was entertaining as well. My only dislike was Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk. I would have loved to see Edward Norton again as the Hulk (*sigh*). Oh well, the movie was still good.
3) Good hockey! Team Finland won both of the hockey games it had this weekend. It wasn't the best hockey I have seen because team Finland only scored a goal per game but I was happy to see that the team was taking more shots than usual. Both of the Finnish goalies were also good (Petri Vehanen and Kari Lehtonen) and very reliable. I'm proud to wear my new team Finland jersey!! Wohoo! I bought it this weekend. I have wanted a hockey jersey for a while now.
4) Good looking new Moomin mug that we bought along with a matching bowl. It is called Primadonna's Horse, and it is only sold this summer because it is part of Arabia's seasonal collection.
That was my weekend, the good and the bad. Today I will just rest and hopefully I will get better soon. Tomorrow is another game for team Finland, so I will be waiting for it by the TV (*wink*). Have a great week everyone!
