Hello
I had a lovely mini vacation the past four days! I was just relaxing at home. My nephew came over as well as couple of my friends. We hung out and watched the hockey games. Too bad Finland didn't do well at all, they eventually placed fourth at the World Championship hockey games. Oh well, better luck and talent next year. This weekend we also tasted more of Ingman's new ice cream flavors as well as baked yummy cheese and ham rolls. But more about the ice cream and rolls later on. For right now I have few spring time pictures that I took on my time off. I hope you like them.

According to the scientist and health care officials, spring this year is very difficult for people with allergies because there is more pollen in the air than any other year. I know this is true because my sister and friends have been complaining to me how terrible time they are having with their allergies. However, I don't have allergies barely at all. Usually I'm the one who is complaining about itchy eyes and runny nose but not this time. I strongly believe that the bee pollen, propolis and royal jelly- pills have helped me. I have taken them for 45 days now and I feel great! I will definitely buy more of the pills in the future, and take them before allergy season starts.

Blueberries are blooming. I hope all these flowers will grow into yummy berries as the summer goes on.
Young wild nettle.
Nettle is really good for you. It is rich in vitamins and minerals. My dad is picking some of the nettle at his house in the country because it has less pollution than here in the city. He will dry the nettle, and then give it to me. I was thinking about making nettle tea and nettle pancakes.
Jinx got a new pillow this weekend. He likes it!

That's all for today. This afternoon I will go try an exercise class called Functional training. It is supposed to help you strengthen your core muscles as well as balance. I think it will be interesting and fun. After that it is time to hurry home because there is still a lot to do before our trip to the US. We only have 6 more days left till takeoff...
