HandMade / Wedding Card

Good day everyone!

Since summer is peak time for weddings, last night I was busy making a card for my cousin who is getting married soon. I didn't want to make a frilly and too over the top card because I don't think it would fit the receivers. Instead I made this cute&simple yet romantic card.

I was inspired by a garland made by Martha Stewart, and it gave me the idea to use old typewriter letters to spell "just married". I googled letters that I liked and just printed them on regular printing paper. Then I used regular card stock paper with hearts to make the card. I glued the card stock paper on a thicker ribbed white paper that I folded to create a card.
I cut out the letters and attached them to the card with puffy foam stickers to create a 3D look. I also decorated the sides of the card paper with silver sticker that I had. Lastly I added two plastic silver rings that I tied with a cute ribbon. Very easy!

Today I googled a wedding themed poem to go with the card and now the only thing left to do, is to mail the letter in time. I hope my card will make the happy couple even happier (*wink*).

I wish all the couples who are getting married this summer a lovely wedding day!!
