My Blueberry Weekend

Hello there my honey bunnies!

If you haven't figured it out yet, I LOOOOVE berries. Thank goodness my nephew also likes berries because it is a lot easier to take him along to go pick blueberries when I don't have to drag him there. He actually wanted to go pick them this past weekend because he was feeling like eating blueberries too. Scott on the other hand doesn't really care for picking berries but he joined us anyway.

We are really lucky because we have huge woods right near us, so we really don't need to walk very far to find any berries. We were there only about half an hour and managed to pick a liter (1 quart) of berries. Jinx was with us too. He was guarding that nobody else came to our parts of the woods to take our berries (*giggle*).

Once we were back home, we ate some of the berries just as they were - fresh. Then we also baked blueberry muffins as well as ate them for breakfast with Greek yogurt and honey. Truly berrylicious weekend!! As always, I have a lot of pictures for you (*smile*).

We have since eaten all the muffins but writing this post made me hungry. I want to bake muffins again. Maybe I could make poppy seed muffins... hmm... Those sound good too! I better go check if I have enough eggs and flour. See ya later!
