New Blogs That I'm Following

Good Morning!

I hope everybody is having a mellow Saturday morning. I have been up early this morning because I'm ready to get going to a company fall sports retreat. We are traveling up North to Rokua health & spa. There we'll get to do sports and enjoy the spa. In the evening we will also get to see&listen Anza Mertaranta Allstars band. I'm excited to go because it should be fun, fun, fun! I can't wait to eat breakfast at the hotel. That is the best (*eggs and bacon-time*).

While I'm away, I figured I'll leave you guys with something to read. Here are two links to my friends' new blogs that I have started to follow. They are both in Finnish but both of them have really cool pictures about their handiwork, so it is worth checking them out even in you don't know the language. Besides, you can always use Google translator to get the idea what's going on.

The first one is called It's just another (nail) blog. It is not hard to guess what this blog is about. My friend has taught herself to do gel nails and now she does nails for herself as well as friends and family. She often posts pictures of the different nail designs that she has created. My favorite design so far is this one for Cinco de Mayo. I already told my friend that I want Mexican skulls for myself next May.

Besides nails, my friend also makes jewelry. She has a whole separate section on her blog about the different pieces of jewelry that she has created. Oh, and you are in luck if you happen to like her jewelry designs because she sells them too. You just have to e-mail her for more details. I like most of her stuff she has on her page. Especially these earrings... I also found couple items that I know my other friend would love. I might have to buy them for her for xmas (*never too early to start shopping for xmas*).

Second blog that I have started to follow is called "Pieni on kaunista" which means "small is beautiful". The writer of this blog is my friend as well, and she makes these fully furnished beautiful doll houses. It is so amazing to see what itty-bitty things she makes out common craft supplies and every day items. She makes posts every week with cute photos of little furniture and household items.

I recommend you take a look even if you don't understand Finnish because her photos are really pretty and amazing. I can't wait to see how this cute little house will be decorated for Christmas. I bet my friend will put up a xmas tree with lights and everything (*gee! why am I so into xmas right now*).

There you go! Something to read while I'm gone but you don't need to worry. I'll back soon anyway because it is only an overnight retreat. Adios!
