Easter is right around the corner, and that is why I decided to surprise my friends with cute Easter eggs filled with goodies today.
I found these adorable big carton eggs on sale around Christmas time, and I thought they would make a great Easter surprise for my friends (*I often buy things way before hand and then just store them till I need them*). I also bought little trinkets, candy and other nic nacs to fill the eggs. Lastly I tied a pretty satin bow around the eggs and I was done.
They looked really fancy but were actually super easy to put together. With little effort and not much money at all, I was able to bring smiles to my friends' faces when I handed them out today. Grown ups love getting Easter eggs too!
Besides cute Easter eggs, I also prepared colorful Easter grass for our apartment. Growing Easter grass is a tradition in Finland, as well as decorating it with little chicks. However, I was feeling lazy and I ended up buying plastic fake grass this time (*giggle*). It still looks colorful and pretty, right?
