Easter Weekend 2013

Hi there!

I hope everyone has had a great Easter weekend because I sure did. I was really happy to spend time with friends who I don't get to see that often because they live far from us. I was also happy to eat good food and enjoy nice sunny weather. As always, I have pictures for you guys...

On Friday we went for a nature walk at Ranta-Toivala.

Jinx loved it! He got to run free.

Mushroom growing on a birch tree.

Enjoying the sun and pretty woods.

We walked on a narrow path that weaved through the woods.

We didn't see any rabbits but I'm sure they were watching us from a safe distance because we saw a lot of rabbit tracks in the woods.

Bacon, eggs, fresh bread and vegetables helped us curb our hunger after the walk.

At night we went to see G.I. Joe: Retaliation. I liked it! It was full of good looking guys, explosions and fights.

Crappy small movie theater in Kuopio. I can't wait for the new theater to open.

Easter wouldn't be Easter without eating chocolate Easter eggs. My favorite egg is of course Kinder surprise egg. I have loved them ever since I was little. This time my surprise was a little arctic fox.

Saturday we went to eat at Memphis.

Scott trying to decide what to order.

Saana and I were all smiles for good food.

Marko and Scott showing off their mustaches.

BBQ pork and mac'n'cheese.

For desert we went to Matkus shopping center for some yummy Italian gelato.

Since one desert wasn't enough, we roasted marshmallows too (*giggle*).

My burned s'more (*it still tasted great*).

Gorgeous Easter colored sunset on Saturday night.

That's all for this Easter (*even though Finland is still celebrating Easter Monday tomorrow*). I'm ready to be done with Easter eggs&bunnies, and I'm waiting for summer to be here soon. We still have too much snow left in my opinion... Anyway, Happy Sunday!
