Last night I was so happy when I saw juicy steaks on sale at my local store. I love steak! I cooked them up medium well and served them with caramelized onions and mushrooms. I also bought a caesar salad for the side. And happiness doesn't end there. Since I couldn't eat the whole steak last night, I prepared an awesome sandwich with the leftover meat. I'm having a great lunch today!!
Since I was at home enjoying my steak last night, I couldn't be at Puijo, which was a shame because they were hosting a FIS Ski Jumping World Cup competition. Oh well, I was able to see it on TV. Puijo was lit super bright and you could see it from far away. Here's a pic I took while walking with Jinx before dinner.
To end my hump day post, here's me this morning. I didn't have to be at work until later, so I was able to run couple errands in the morning. I needed to find a birthday present for my friend as well go to the doctors to have my throat checked out after the tonsillectomy.
I did find a present (*yey*) but I got some bad news from the doctor (*crap*). I have a part of the left tonsil still left in my throat and I have a slight infection. I got antibiotics to treat the infection, and we will monitor to see if the left tonsil tissue will wither away. If it doesn't, I might have to have another surgery.
Oh well, I won't worry about my throat right now. I'm going to take the antibiotics and rest like the doctor told me to. I only have one more day of work and then I'm off for a long weekend. I have a fun trip planned up north. More about that later on...
