Trip To The Countryside

Hi there!

How's it going? I'm good. Just enjoying a great weekend with family (*and a ton of sunshine*). Yesterday Scott and I took a day trip to see my dad. He lives couple hours up North from us. It is awesome to go there because it is located in the middle of nowhere, so you can enjoy peace and quiet as much as you want.

I also like to go there because my dad has a pretty garden with flowers and vegetables. This time he gave me a big basket of potatoes and a beautiful flower bouquet to take home with me (*yey*).

 Scott and I spent couple of hours at my dad's summer cottage as well. It was so quiet and peaceful. We might have maybe gone skinny dipping but no one knows about it since we were the only ones there (*giggle*).

 You might think I'm just a girly girl but you're wrong. I know how to fish and do things that are not so prissy.

While the sauna at the cottage was warming up, I tried my luck with the fish.

And I did catch some fishies! I gave all of them to my dad. He uses them as bait fish to catch pike and other bigger fish.

We also took the row boat out for a spin at the lake.

 After having a lot of fun at the cottage, we came back to my dad's place (*and the garden*). He is growing pumpkins this year too.
