Hello, hello!
June is about to wrap up and it sure does look like summer in Finland but damn it is cold as hell. I can't stand it! All my summer dresses, skirts and shorts remain unused in my closet. Every morning I'm wishing and hoping that it is warmer but I keep getting disappointed. I know I shouldn't even stress about the weather since I can't do anything about it but it still gets me mad. I love hot summers!
Here's my today's pictures from not-so-warm-Finland. I got little help from my friends too. They had taken gorgeous shots of sunsets during midsummer and I want to share them with everyone. Enjoy!
Eating lunch at a local park. I had a shawl over my legs to keep me warm (*giggle*).
I baked a birthday cake for my friend yesterday. I had it cooling off on the window sill and Jinx got a sniff of it. He wanted it so bad!
Jinx kept turning and looking at me to give him a slice. Tough luck darling! It ain't happening.

Since my birthday is in January, I never get strawberries and cream cake. There are no strawberries, only ice and snow. That is why I wanted to bake a cake for my friend. I'll definitely get a chance to eat the cake now (*giggle*). I mixed mascarpone cheese with whipped cream and sliced up fresh strawberries for the cake. I also made swirly twirly dark chocolate decorations. Yummy!
I have been walking/running/jogging with Jinx a lot too. We saw this cute ladybug in the bushes by my running track yesterday morning.
