Quick Trip To Tallinn

Hello, hello!

Last weekend I took some time off and went to visit Tallinn, Estonia with my friends. It was just a short trip, from Saturday to Sunday, but it was still a ton of fun! We traveled there by a bus, so no one had to drive. A short ferry ride over the Baltic sea took us straight to Tallinn.

This time we stayed the night at Nordic Hotel Forum that is located right across from Viru center and is very close to old town of Tallinn. We enjoyed the hotel a lot!  My girlfriends and I stayed at a double deluxe room and my guy friends had a standard room. In my opinion the best part about our double deluxe room was the bathroom. I would love to have just one like it in my own apartment. It had a separate tub and shower in one room. Then it had an adjoining room that had a toilet. I also loved the tile and doors they had chosen for the bathroom. Everything was just right! The room had also many mirrors which is unusual. Lot of hotel rooms have maybe two but this had at least six mirrors. When you have three girls getting ready for a night out, you definitely need a lot of mirrors with natural light (*giggle*).

Since we didn't have much time, we took it easy and just had a nice dinner a Farm restaurant. It was such an awesome experience! I highly recommend. Farm restaurant offers modern Estonian food straight from the farm to the table.

As always, I have pictures to share of course!

6.30am bus to Tallinn. Me and my crew.

Checking in.

Reception.

Our floor.

Double deluxe room features a massive bed to sleep in. Since it was three of us, one of my friends had to sleep on a pull out sofa.

It felt so good to jump on the bed after a long bus ride.

But we had no time to take a nap. We had a table reservation for dinner.

My friend Katri excited about our weekend trip.

Lots of complimentary toiletries.

I love this bathroom! It's not super fancy but very practical.

I liked the big tub that we had in the room.

How cool are these bathroom double doors?

Yum! I got chocolates too. They know me so well *(giggle*).

View from our window.

Perfect lighting for selfies.

Getting comfortable.

Floating head.

What time is it? It's mojito o'clock of course.

Cheers!

Executive managers meeting in Tallinn (*wink*).

How about a glass of champagne?

We didn't want to spend the whole night just on a liquid diet, so we went to eat at Farm restaurant. Their window display is hilariously awesome!

I think taxidermy art is cool.

I like the atmosphere at Farm.

Shiny chandeliers.

Boys couldn't wait to get their food.

I took it easy by the fire place.

And couple selfies while waiting.

Yum! Freshly baked bread with salty butter and red wine.

My dinner was fried cutlet made from Saaremaa island game and served with creamy mashed potatoes and rosemary wine sauce.

Bye bye Mr. Rabbit! Until next time.

After eating so well previous night, we probably should have hit the treadmill next morning at the hotel. Instead we went for a morning swim.

Nordic Hotel Forum Relax center is on the top floor.

Morning swim and a sauna is always a good idea!

Relax center has a great view overlooking Tallinn.

After the swim I was ready for some breakfast. Yum!

Beautiful butterflies at the breakfast area. It is funny how my post is about taxidermy even though I didn't plan it that way.

Gorgeous!

Thank you all! I had fun!!
