Terrific Tuesday!!

Hi there!!

No, I haven't gone crazy. I know it is Wednesday today but I didn't have time last night to make this post, so I'm writing it right now. Yesterday was seriously an awesome day!! There were 5 good reasons for yesterday to be so awesome.

1) I only had to work for six and a half hours and my work didn't start till 10am. I had time to walk Jinx in the morning. That is luxury because usually I walk him at night. Jinx was so happy to run free by the pond in the morning.

2) I reserved a cruise for us to go to Stockholm, Sweden. My work is paying for a membership for Tallink cruise lines that operates here in the Baltic. Tallink gave all their members a free cruise as a xmas present! We will be sailing to Stockholm in March 2012. My boss already ok'd my vacation for that time.

3) I had my Pilates class after work. We concentrated on abs this time. It was a good work out! Plus in the end we had a relaxation exercise with the heat lamps. I love the lovely heat that comes from those heat lamps. I hate the cold weather and miss the warm summer days.

4) Right after my Pilates class my friend David called and said he had an extra ticket to the KalPa - JYP hockey game. I was stoked! I was prepared to watch the game at home because it was on TV as well but to see the game live is always better. JYP is our rivalry team because they come from city near us and there is always a different kind of energy at the game. Think the US against Canada or Finland vs. Sweden.

5) KalPa won 2-1!! The first period was crappy. JYP was controlling the game and KalPa had a difficult time getting to the other end from their own goal. They also passed the puck really sloppy. I was sure they would lost. The second period started to get better and the third period was already like hockey should be; fast and full of action. KalPa's second goal was PRETTY!! Thank you David for inviting me to game. You made my already good day even better.

David and I excited to see how the game ends...

On the period break they introduced one of the KalPa's junior teams. The little boys were so cute! They are the future of hockey.

What a great day! I could have more of this kind of days (*smile*). Another reason to be happy is that Scott got a temporary job. He was working for this company before on his summer break from school. They now called him back. That is good because we need to save some money for out trips to Stockholm and the US.

That's all for this morning. Today I will go to a kettle bell class with my friend after work and then just relax at home. Unless there are more fun surprises like yesterday's ticket to the game.
