Christmas / Time To Open The First Window On Our Christmas Calendar

Hello, Hello!!

And happy December first! I can't believe how quickly time has passed. It is already December. There are only 23 days till Christmas Eve.

As I told you earlier on my First Advent post, it is a tradition in Finland to have Advent calendars to count down to Christmas. Even though Advent calendars are mainly for kids, I bought one for my team at work. Who says grown ups can't have some fun with the calendars as well...

Here's couple pictures of my calendar. I bought a traditional one with pictures only. There are fancier calendars that have chocolate, toys and even legos in them.

And here's what's behind the first window...

Kitty cat skating... Cute! No skating in Kuopio because all the snow and ice melted last night. I don't mind it too much though because I was able to ride my bike to work.
Today I don't have anything special planned because I will need to pack for the weekend. We will be going to Joensuu again. It is time for our annual Elf Night. I don't have time now to tell you what happens at the Elf Night so you have to just wait and see (*wink*).

Have a Happy December 1st!!
