I just wanted to show you my new sweater and socks I wore today. I have been asking my sister to knit me a pair of over the knee wool socks because they would be so warm to wear with my black leather boots. My sister told me to make them myself. I know that it is a lot of work to make them, so when I saw these at the store, I had to have them.
I bought them from a store called Cubus. It is a Norwegian clothing chain store that just arrived to Finland not too long ago. They don't have a store in Kuopio yet and I actually bought these from Joensuu last weekend. I wore them first time today and they a really warm and great! They also stay up very well. I should have bought these in black as well because these only costed 9,90 euros. Too bad Cubus doesn't have an online store. Well, maybe next time when I go to Joensuu I'll get another pair.
My new sweater is from Seppälä. They had a 40% sale for their club members on Monday and I thought I'll go there to look for the last xmas presents that I need to find. Well, I didn't find anything for others but I got myself this sweater. But I had a good reason for getting it (*smile*). Most of my sweaters have too short sleeves and since this one had fairly long sleeves I bought it. The price was only 16 euros after the discount and purple is one of my favorite colors too!
Two good buys in a week! I wish I had such luck with my last xmas presents...
