HandMade / Double Knitted Mittens

Warm Hello!

Here's my latest knitting project that I finished yesterday. I knitted mittens for Scott because his old mittens were falling apart.

I used two different shades of grey, and did double knitting with them to make the mittens extra warm. The yarn that used was Novita's 7 veljestä- yarn. It is 75% wool and 25% polyamide. 7 veljestä- yarn is very durable and can be washed in a washer (40C degrees / cool water).

Close up on the knit. I made up the pattern myself. Nothing too difficult.

Scott loved his new mittens!

Next I will knit a hat out of the green Novita Isoveli yarn. I hope it will turn out good and fits my head... I have a little trouble making things the right size. Oh well, if it doesn't fit me, I'm sure it will fit someone else.
Anyway, it is still super cold in Finland. It is -25C / -13F in Kuopio this morning. Brrrr! I didn't bike to work because my throat is little sore. I DO NOT want to get sick. I have plans this weekend, and they don't include me getting sick.

Stay warm everyone!
