MiniPost / Spring Is Coming And Another Knitted Hat

Good Evening!

A quick post for the night because I just had to share my joy. I was so excited today after work when I realized that the sun was till up!! For about two months now, it has been dark when I go to work and it has been dark when I get off. It is the downside of the sunny summer nights in Finland, we have super dark days in the winter. But not anymore!! WOHOO!! Check out the pretty sky I saw today after work. Sure the sun was already about to set but at least I saw some sky and not plain darkness.

Oh, and here is the pink version of the Novita hat that I just finished knitting. It is the same pattern than on the green hat that I made couple days ago. This one will be a bday present for my step mom. I hope she likes it...

I put a pink fleece liner as well. I think it looks cute!

Plus a little pompom.

That's it for tonight! Tomorrow I'll be happy about two numbers; the sun will be up another 2 minutes longer compared today. And there are only 110 days till our big trip to the USA. Let's also hope that if I get to know my body's real age tomorrow, that number is low... (*wink*)
