HandMade / Converse Socks

Hello!

I love surprises! Last night I got a good one when my friend stopped by to give me a present. My friend's mom had knitted me these super awesome Converse wool socks. Yeah! Check out how cool they are. They even have real laces. I'm so excited about them!!

These will be my new airplane wool socks. Yes, I said airplane wool socks. Let me explain; I always get cold in an airplane, and I hate to wear shoes the whole time, especially on a long flight. So, I take off my shoes and switch to wool socks. But some people look at you funny when you walk around the plane with only your socks on. Now I can wear these and they look like I'm wearing sneakers. Awesome!

The instructions for these socks are from Novita Sock Magazine 2011. So, if you want your own pair, just start knitting. Or see if you would have a friendly mom who could do it for you (*wink*).

Thanks my friend's mom!! I really, really like these. And my feet will be really happy on our long flight to the USA next month (*smile*). Happy Saturday to everybody!

  5. Many people have asked for the instructions in English. Unfortunately I don't have them but I have contacted Novita and asked if they could translate the instructions. I'll post them if they get them to me.

I got these socks as a present, so I don't even have the Finnish instructions.
