Hi again!

Guess who is feeling like a lady today? I am, in my new silk dress from Zara. It is amazing how soft it feels against my skin and since it is a wrap dress, it also fits me perfect. Oh, and the best part is that it was a present from my dear friend! Lucky me, huh?

Anyway, I didn't want to just gloat about my new dress today (even though it is gorgeous). I want to tell you about prints because on my trip to the USA, I noticed that prints were all over the stores. And I don't mean just any measly little flowers or polka dots. I'm talking about big, bold colorful prints! The crazier, the better. When I walked to a clothing store in the US, it felt like a unicorn had thrown up. It was so colorful plus there were so many different kinds of patterns from modern to even psychedelic prints.  I especially noticed that there were a lot of dresses that had many different kind of prints. I'm not that sure if I really like all the weird prints because I prefer more subtle and classic style like my dress today. I do love the bold colors though. I absolutely adore this shade of green on my new dress.

After I came back to Finland, I was first thinking that it was only crazy Americans that are liking prints right now but I quickly changed my mind when after I saw some of the new arrivals at few of my favorite online stores in the UK. To my surprise they had the same crazy prints as did the stores in the US. And I know it is not a real surprise... Of course rest of the world knows what is going on in the fashion world. It is Finland that is always behind the latest trends. So, my guess is that prints are going to be in Finland next spring and summer.

Enough talk about prints... Here's more pictures of my awesome dress (*giggle*). I snapped few pictures this morning and edited them with my photo editing app on my phone. 

Lovely, isn't it? Anyway... This weekend I will be busy hanging out with my niece. She is on her summer vacation and wants to spend some time with her aunt. I'm not sure what we will do but I'm positive it'll be fun!
