HandMade / Halloween Spooky Banners

Hi everyone!

We are almost ready for our annual Halloween bash. Scott and I have been finishing up our craft projects and we are pretty much done. Only things left are the last of the paper mache, Scott's costume and the witches finger cookies and other treats we are serving at the party.

Last night I made two different kinds of Halloween banners to be hung at the party. These banners are super easy to put together and you don't need any special tools. You could also make other banners (*xmas, bdays*) with this same idea. Let me show you how they are done.

You will need:
-paper
-printer
-card stock paper
-scissors
-double sided tape
-ribbon
-stapler
-hole puncher

First print out letters that spell out "spooky". You can get them here.

Cut out the letters.

Then make a bigger circle from any card stock paper that you like.

I traced a circle by using a glass bowl that is bigger than my cut out letters.

Then I attached the letters to the cards stock with double sided tape.

It should look like this.

Next punch two holes on each letter.

Now you are ready to thread a ribbon through the letters. Make sure you put the letters in right order.

Spooky banner ready for the Halloween!

For this second banner you need a bunch of triangle shaped Halloween themed flags. I just searched from the internet with words "halloween banner printables". After printing, cut out the flags.

Take a long piece of ribbon or paper string. Use a stapler to attach each flag to the string.

That's it! Now you have a second banner made just in just minutes.

Happy Halloween Folks!

That's it for today. Since the weather is nasty and cold, I'll probably stop at work for overtime and then come home to watch a movie or something. I hate how dark it is in Finland right now. Thank goodness we have Halloween and Christmas to cheer us up!
