Hi there and Happy Thanksgiving!!
I hope everyone in the USA is enjoying their day off and is eating lots of turkey in my behalf. Finland doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving and that is why our day here has been just normal with work and such. My intention was to cook a Thanksgiving dinner with pumpkin pie and everything but somehow I have been too busy to do so. We are just having a regular Thursday night with mashed potatoes and sausages. Even though we don't celebrate Thanksgiving this year, we still remember to list the things that we are thankful for; we have food on our table, roof over our heads and a puppy that loves us unconditionally.
I know that I promised to share pictures couple days ago from the fashion show that I was modeling in but I don't have many pictures yet. My camera phone doesn't operate that well in the dark, so my pictures are total crap. Some people had real nice cameras and I'm waiting to get their pictures. Anyway, here's couple pics for right now...
A local news paper had a group picture of all the models.
My hair and make up.

Scott and Roman were the only male models in our group.
My friend Anu and I.
That's all the Fashion Night pictures I have. I'll post more as soon as I get my hands on them. But going back to Thanksgiving... I think Finland should start celebrating Thanksgiving too. Not because we have nothing to do with pilgrims and native Americans but because I want to be able to go shop on Black Friday. Finns don't know anything about good sales and shopping super early in the morning. I used to love to wake up early on Black Friday and hitting stores for good sales. I was always planning to buy xmas presents to others but somehow I ended buying things for myself. What a great tradition (*giggle*)!
Anyway, take care, eat well and shop till you drop!

you look lovely! looks like a fun time!
ReplyDeleteyou know how you always say your are a "bad fin" - well i don't eat turkey or participate in black friday...
you always make the sweetest gifts - no need for black friday & the mass consumption of cheaply made imports that use up our dwindling oil supply & end up in a landfill by the next year...
maybe we can all start a new black friday tradition where we try to make or do something special for someone we love! CRAFT FRIDAY
you can totally participate in this tradition - in every country! ;)
That would be a great idea! :)
