This weekend was awesome because it was different than most of our weekends. We were house sitting for my sister in the countryside. Besides the house we also had to take care of her 3 cats and 2 dogs (*plus Jinx*).
You might think that's a lot but it actually wasn't. We got to relax and rest, as well as get ready for Christmas by making presents. We also invited our friends to hang out with us on Saturday night. Since there are no city lights to pollute the night sky, we were able to see the Northern lights and a bunch of shooting stars. Everyone had a great time!
I have pictures to share with you guys. None of the shooting stars though (*sad face*). But I still think you enjoy these ones too. Pretty kick ass sunrise on Saturday. Just wait and see...
How could you resist these guys?
I took a walk around fields with Jinx. I couldn't take the little dogs because snow was too deep for them.
After my walk I snuggled with little Eppu.
Soon I was fast asleep...
...as well as Eppu.

Every now and then I had to snuggle with Jinx too. He was jealous for the little dogs getting all the attention.
Xmas craft time! Scott taught me how to make origami birds.
We made a bunch of blue and white (*like the Finnish flag*) birds as a present for my dad. I put a ribbon on them, so my dad can hang them on the xmas tree.
We made a ton different kind of birds. It was really relaxing to keep folding paper and see it turn into a pretty bird.
Dad likes homemade presents, so I'm thinking he will enjoy my origami birds. I'll just have to pack them in a pretty box and they'll look super fancy.
We made all different colored birds. I might have to keep some of them for our own tree.
