Christmas Cards And Stuff

Hello there!

Sorry for no posts lately. I have been busy with work and Christmas. Also my foot is finally a bit better, so I have been able to go for longer walks with Jinx (*yey*).

If you still haven't noticed, I luuuv Christmas. I like to prepare for it in advance and I'm a total craft geek. I love making my own cards, presents and sweet goodies. I just wish I had more time to make them all. And a bigger apartment because my projects tend to take over our place fairly easily (*oops*). Thank goodness Scott and Jinx are used to it.

Anyway, here's pictures what I have been doing lately...

Reindeer themed xmas cards with oogly googly eyes.

Like I said... craft stuff all over the dining room table.

Me in the midst of crafting.

Taking Jinx for a walk but end up stopping and taking pictures of a xmas tree.

I got cold outside and made myself a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream which I spiked with Baileys.

Here's me again going to work. I wish I didn't have to go to work and I could just stay at home for the entire month of December. I'd love to keep making my cards etc.

Back home... more cards. This one I made out of sticks Jinx and I collected from the woods. I attached the sticks to each other with thin metal wire and then just glued the whole thing on card stock. Since I cut the metal wire too long, I shaped the extra wire on the top as a heart.

More reindeer.

And felt snow flakes glued on a card stock and decorated with tape and a simple bow. Super easy!

This decorative tree branch is in our bedroom. We just found the branch in the woods, cleaned it up well and let it dry for a day or two. Then we hung battery operated lights to it and put the whole thing in a sturdy jar filled with rocks. Once again simple yet awesome!

Look at that... more cards. This time I knocked out two birds with one stone. Our friend just had a baby, so I made them a baby themed xmas card. Clever, huh?

That's it for today. Besides all that I'm also in the middle of one very cute Christmas craft and I'll definitely share it with you once I'm done. I'm still hoping to have time to bake more gingerbread cookies too. We are only two weeks away from Christmas. Awesome!!!

Are you as excited as I am?
