Week At Kasnäs - Arriving

Hello!

And greetings from Kasnäs! I'm here for a week long sports vacation with friends from work.

At first I had no idea where is Kasnäs and what there is to do. Well, first of all it takes about seven hours to get here from Kuopio because Kasnäs is one of the 3000 Kimito islands in the very South of Finland. We took a train to Helsinki and then one of our good friends drove us here because there were very few busses that come to Kasnäs on Sundays.

Secondly there is so much to do and see. Just the sea alone is awesome for a landlocked lake people. The feel of the fresh sea breeze on our skin combined with warm rays of sun made us feel welcomed immediately.

We're staying at the Kasnäs Spa Hotel. We have two adjoining rooms with two bathrooms and a cute little kitchenette. The best part of the rooms are the terraces overlooking the sea.

I'm very excited for the week ahead of us and I'll try make posts along the way. If you don't hear from me I'm having way too much fun enjoying my vacation. Make sure to check out my Instagram account for pictures because I'm more active there.
Here's some pictures from day one. I hope you enjoy them.

Ready for the long travel to Kasnäs.

Our awesome friend Aarne drove us there.

We stopped at Lohja for lunch. We happily recommend Happy Joe's for any hungry traveler.

Happy Joe is a sports bar and it serves tasty pub food. My only question is that where is the Blackhawks jersey?
