Happy Valentine's Day!!
Since I knew that I would be recuperating from my tonsillectomy on Valentine's Day, I made sure that I had my Valentine's Day cards made and mailed out well in advance.
This year I decided to make ooglegoogle eyed lollipop butterflies. I cut out wings from card stock paper and I used glittery glue to make sparkly accents on to the wings. Then I glued pair of eyes on a lollipop which I stuck through slits that I had cut on the wings. Lastly I wrote my Valentine's Day wishes on the wings. Simple, sweet and super cute! Here's pictures from my Valentine's Day workshop (*Scott loves it when I take over the entire apartment with my crafts, no not really*).
I cut and decorated all the wings at once.
While the glitter glue was drying, I glued all the eyes on the lollipops.
Then I just need to cut two little slits for the lollipop to be inserted through the wings. I also wrote little greetings and sayings on the wings.
