A Spooktacular Day Everyone!
As I have already told you, we just took a hauntingly fun head start to Halloween this past weekend. Group of us Halloween maniacs hosted a huge Halloween bash in Kuopio. The place was decked out with lots of decorations both indoor and outdoor, and nearly 50 people showed up looking scary as ever. There were a lots of treats for the guests to enjoy as well as refreshments. We also had a best costume contest. All ghosts, witches, monsters, zombies, rock stars, cartoon characters and other wicked creatures had a frightfully delightful night.
So, without any further ado, here's our Halloween Party Picture Gallery 2012. Enter at your own risk...
Halloween cookies; bones and witches fingers.
Oh no! Who died? Prepping up the party Friday night.
Saturday morning we did all the outside decorations.
Greg the crawler dug himself out from the grave.
Spider web, jack-o-lanters, grave yard and houling ghost!

My Olive Oyl- costume is store bought. It ended up being cheaper than making it from the scratch.
All I can say that this was an easy and cute costume! The wig was bit hot but it compensated for the bare legs. It is below zero celsius (32F) in Finland right now.
For the boots I actually ended up wearing an old pair that I got from my coworker. That way I didn't have to worry about scratching or somehow else ruing
my new boots.
My friend Reetta the magician.
Popeye and Olive Oyl. The secret is in the spinach.
Magician and Mechanic. If her tricks don't work that well, he knows how to fix them (*ha ha ha*).
Harry the Hangman's sad day.
Yard decorations again.
Harry scared everyone who stepped in or out the house.
Decorations inside the house.
Dance floor.
Intergalactic space girl called Glaara. She actually got the 2nd place in the best costume contest.
Too bad space girl was short of money and was forced to use a foil gun (*giggle*).
Grave yard at night.
Ghostly gathering.
It's not a party until you have a space girl, cowboy and sailor man in the house.
Popeye got the 3rd place in the best costume contest.
Creepy treats.
Demons are a ghouls best friend.
Even the bathroom got spookyfied. Blood spatter on the walls and eye balls in the ceiling.
Spooktacular Halloween
Weave a wicked web.
Kisses to my Harry, and ghoulish mystery guest (*no, it's just Popeye in UV light*).
Here's a real ghoul.
Ghost and Zombie girl.
The night of the living dead.
The 1st place in the best costume contest was actually a tie between these two scary zombies. Good thing that they are a couple in real life too, so they didn't have to fight for the prize.
Hair raising terror (*seriously, my wig was not staying put*)!
Zombie girl at the Red Room of Pain (*also known as the coat check*).
We wanted the coat check to be a scary place of pain and punishment. There were red lights and spooky sounds playing on the back ground. The only thing missing was whips.
What a great night for a fright.
.
David the Monk greeting Ozzy Osborne, and Little Red Riding Hood happy that she didn't have to come to the party with the big bad wolf.
Popeye tried to get the zombie to eat spinach but I think she only ate the Halloween treats.
I told you this zombie only eats treats.
Grave Digger and The Hawaiian Devil.
You better not try to eat me or Popeye will come and punch you!
We were honored to have Barack Obama at the party as well. He had left Michelle at home and found this Pirate Chick to go to the party with.
My motto is that I don't believe in the Republican party or the Democratic party. I just believe in parties (*giggle*). By the way, Barack better watch out for a Bee sting.
Gangsters or just mischief and mayhem.
Mechanic and Magician trying to decide who to vote for in the best costume contest.
This gangster couple was so hardcore that they weren't afraid of the Jigsaw.
I see dead people.
She has the devil on her one shoulder and the angel on the other. Who is she going to listen to?
Scream-Fest.
Wicked Witch and Happy Monk.
Hard rock hallelujah.
Voting time for the best costume.
You better vote for me!!!
Sara reading of the list of winners in the best costume contest.
Lots of creatures were stirring.
Cowboy was also one of the DJ's.
Scary Crow!
Boo crew.
Winners' zombie dance.
Costumes, pumpkins and candy, Oh my! What a party! I think I will need to rest for couple days to recover from all the sugar, fun and creepy crawlers (*wink*).
Happy Boo Day!!
