Pollination Exhibition At Kuopio Museum
As you may have noticed I love nature a lot, especially flowers. Often on my walks I stop to smell and admire flowers, and I also take pictures.
What goes hand in hand with flowers? Bees and other insects of course. I don't love those. I'm actually allergic to them.
Why am I making a post about bees etc then? Because I went to see an exhibition about pollination at the Kuopio museum. They were kind enough to give me a free admission to learn more about bees and flowers.
Here's pictures from my visit. I hope you like them.
Cute window stickers at the museum.
Taking a closer look.
Different kinds of bees.
Yikes!
Rose mallow.
Bigger area of the exhibition.
Bee keeper. My new career?
Thank you Kuopio museum. That was ton of fun!! I definitely recommend everyone to stop in at the museum on a rainy day because once you're in at the exhibition, it feels like a sunny summer day.

Whadup?
Hello!
Not much going on. Just working and working out. I'm also trying to better my eating habits at least for a while. I have cut out candy, soda and ice cream out of my diet. It is amazing how badly one can be addicted to sugar. It feels like I'm going to need a 12 step program. Anyone willing to be my sponsor (*wink*)?
Anyway... Here's few pictures I snapped few days ago.
Last rose of Summer.
Going out to dinner&dancing with friends.
Healthy meal. No desert.
That's it for now. I better get my butt to a Pilates class after work as well as take Jinx out for a walk (*or run, depending how energized I feel*).
Have a great night everyone!

Jetlag Sucks!
Hello!
It is definitely not "vacation o'clock"anymore. It is "I have no clue what time zone I'm in o'clock" and it sucks. I slept only 2½ hrs last night because my body was thinking it was day time in USA. It takes few days for me to get adjusted to time in Finland (*sigh*).
Anyway, our trip to USA was awesome and we had a lot of fun! I'll be posting pictures from our adventures as soon as I have time.

But now time to sleep now, I have to get my butt to work. That will be an adjustment too after being on a vacation for four weeks. Oh well, I'll take it easy. Thank goodness for make up and coca cola though, together they make me look like I'm awake (*wink*).
Have a great Monday everyone!

Travel The World / Cedar Point
Hello!
Today I want to share pictures from our awesome trip to Cedar Point amusement park. I was very delighted to get free media passes to the park in order to be able to share the amusement with you guys.
Cedar Point amusement park is located in Sandusky, Ohio, and it has been voted the “Best Amusement Park in the World” for a record 15 consecutive years (*I agree, it is definitely the best*). Cedar Point features more than 150 rides, shows and attractions that spread over 364 acres of land on The Cedar Point Peninsula.
This summer Cedar Point debuted its 16th roller coaster called GateKeeper. Located at the front of the park, GateKeeper, has changed the landscape of the Cedar Point Peninsula forever. This mammoth ride is the longest wing roller coaster and boasts the longest drop of any wing roller coaster on Earth, and that is why we started our day of amusement from the gate. Hop onto the ride with us but be prepared for A LOT OF PICTURES...
What an amazing day! We all had a ton of fun. We walked a lot, laughed a lot and enjoyed the crazy rides a lot. Thanks Cedar Point!!! We hope to come again some day soon.

After nearly a 4 hour car ride to Cedar Point, I was very excited!
Gate Keeper at the front of the park.
Gate Keeper.
Jenna had never been to big rides like Gate Keeper, so she was afraid at first but she loved it in the end. In my opinion the ride was good. It was smooth and long.
Next we did the scariest ride ever; Top Thrill Dragster. 120 mph in 4 seconds. I LOVED IT!!
Cedar Point Power Tower. We didn't have time to experience it this time but it looks like fun.
Iron Dragon. Old ride from the 80's but it still is a great one!
Next we headed to Mantis.
Mantis is a stand-up roller coaster. It was pretty wild!
After getting a little snack, we headed to Millennium Force.
Millennium features a 300 feet/91 meter drop. WOW! It was so cool. Probably my favorite ride ever.
After doing many of the big rides, we decided to just walk around a little bit and see Frontier Town.
Cedar Point is really easy to navigate but be prepared for a lot of walking. The area is huge! Thank goodness they have a lot of rest areas, drink/food kiosks as well as restrooms.
Millennium from the Frontier Town.
Back side of Dragster.
For the last ride of the day, we decided to do Raptor. It was the best choice ever because the ride was awesome!
Group picture time while in line.
Raptor is one of the best rides ever, right after Millennium. Or maybe they are tied. I can't decide. I'll have to ride them again to make up my mind (*giggle*).
What an amazing day! We all had a ton of fun. We walked a lot, laughed a lot and enjoyed the crazy rides a lot. Thanks Cedar Point!!! We hope to come again some day soon.
