Love Your Lips With Lancôme Rouge In Love

I'm such a spoiled girl! Check out what Lancôme sent me last week; one of their feather light, long lasting lipsticks called Rouge In Love. I was very interested to try it out. To be honest, I'm more of a lip gloss kind of a girl. I barely ever wear lipstick because I'm worried it will wear out or stain my teeth.

According to Lancôme's website, Rouge In Love lasts up to six hours, and it has light&hydrating texture. There are 24 gorgeous shades to choose from.

The shade I got is called 300M Beige Dentelle, and it belongs to the pink-to-purple group of shades. I like it because it is really easy to wear and  it gives you a polished yet natural look. It is not too purple either.

Rouge In Love lipstick comes in a beautiful silver case that is small, sturdy and easy to take along even in a tiny purse.

Texture wise this lipstick is indeed really light, and it is easy to apply. It also smells yummy. It doesn't quite last up to six hours, I'd say it lasts about two to three, but it wears out pretty naturally. It lasts kissing with your hubby too (*wink*).

I'd be keen on trying a hot red shade of Rouge In Love to see how well that would work. I'm always afraid to wear really red shades because I think they will smudge or stain my teeth/face. With this beige shade I got, I definitely didn't have any of these problems. I was really surprised.

This lipstick experience was a good one.

I think I might start wearing less lip glosses and trying out more lipsticks.
